2013 World Series of Poker Schedule Features 62 Bracelet Events
There will be a total of 62 bracelet events in this years World Series of Poker. Professional poker players will enter events along with amateurs trying to win bracelets including the biggest one for the main event which begins in early July. Lets take a look at some of the highlights from the 2013 World Series of Poker schedule.
The World Series of Poker for 2013 at the Rio in Las Vegas begins on May 29th and continues until July 15 and then resumes with the final table of the main event on November 4th and 5th. There will be 62 bracelet events with the highlight being the main event which begins on July 6th. A new event this year is the Millionaire Maker which is a $1,500 event where the winner will get $1 million dollars. The prize pool for this event will be changed to make sure the winner gets $1 million. "Dreams are dealt each year at the World Series of Poker," said Ty Stewart, executive director of the WSOP. "From the opening weekend, where we will make yet another millionaire, to the main event, which awards the largest single prize in the world, the WSOP is an annual affirmation about the strength and global appeal of the game."
There will also be the first turbo event in the World Series of Poker on June 19th where blinds will increase faster. There will also be the $111,111 buy-in High Roller bracelet event on June 26th and there will be the $50,000 Poker Players' Championship.
The 2013 World Series of Poker begins with the Casino Employees event and an eight-handed no-limit tourney on May 29th.
