2015 World Series of Poker Schedule Includes First-Ever Online Event
The 2015 World Series of Poker schedule will include an online event for the first time ever. Let’s look at the highlights for the 2015 WSOP schedule.
The 2015 World Series of Poker will be held at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas beginning on May 27th. The 46th edition of the WSOP has a record 68 bracelet events including the $10,000 Main Event which begins on July 5th and concludes with the November Nine in November.
There are 11 new events on the World Series of Poker schedule for 2015 including the $1,000 WSOP.com No-Limit Holdem event that will be played online until the final two players are determined. They will then finish heads-up play live at the Rio in Las Vegas. Other new events include the Colossus No-Limit, Hyper No-Limit, Extended Play No-Limit, Super Seniors, a $5,000 Turbo No-Limit, a 50-50 No-Limit event, a $25,000 High Roller 8-handed Pot Limit Omaha event, a Bounty No-Limit event, a Lucky 7’s No-Limit event and a $10,000 Dealer’s Choice event.
Other big events in addition to the Main Event are the $50,000 Poker Players Championship, the $111,111 High Roller for One Drop which will have a huge prize pool and the $1,111 Little One for One Drop.
The 2014 WSOP gold bracelet tournaments set records with 82,360 entries and over $227 million in prize money. The 2015 World Series of Poker may break both of those marks.
