Poker Hall of Fame Inducts Daniel Negreanu and Jack McClelland
The two newest members of the Poker Hall of Fame are poker pro Daniel Negreanu and poker tournament executive Jack McClelland. The two will become the 47th and 48th members of the Poker Hall of Fame. Congratulations to the newest members of the Poker Hall of Fame, Poker Hall of Fame governing council member Ty Stewart said, While a contrast in styles, there is a common thread between these two deserving nominees. Both live all-in on poker and have devoted their full hearts to the game.
Daniel Negreanu enters the Poker Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility. He has consistently been one of the top players in the game over the past two decades, winning six World Series of Poker bracelets, two World Poker Tour championships and he has racked up almost $30 million in career earnings. Its an honor to be inducted alongside so many great players that have come before me, said Negreanu.
Jack McClelland is a 40-year veteran in the poker world. He was a major player in getting the World Poker Tour off the ground and he was the tournament director for the Bellagio until 2013. He was also tournament director for the World Series of Poker. Being inducted into the Class of 2014 Poker Hall of Fame is a very exciting prospect and I am sure it will be a very humbling experience, McClelland said.
